Snowmass is one of the best family ski areas in North America, known for its wide-open, groomed cruising runs and family-friendly activities. It offers more than 3,000 acres of terrain in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, including 90 trails, three terrain parks, one superpipe and one minipipe. There are 23 lifts to get skiers on their way, including the 12,510-foot Cirque lift, the first in the country to be operated solely by renewable wind power. Snowmass is six miles from Aspen-Pitkin County Airport, 70 miles from the Eagle County Regional Airport and 220 miles from Denver International Airport.
